Space Planning with WIP​

Utilize space planning, now with WIP Production Orders, to ensure production planning effectiveness while minimizing movements due to space capacity constraints.​

V1 of Space Planning recognizes only inventory on hand, and calculates available space by location.

• Plan spacing capacity by location, Room, Section, and Bin​

• Add Room, Section and Bin to Routing Lines to identify where WIP is​

• Identify sq ft./meter by locations and by sections (tables, floor, hanging space) within location(s)​

• Use routings to update item size at given phase of production​

• Based on current inventory + WIP see space capacity (remaining / overage) per section and location
